In the search for truth and revelations about our existence and our Creator, I have found the greatest growth and peace by rethinking the way I once looked at things.

Before I was able to obtain a better understanding of God and whatever plan might be in store for mankind, I had to forget all the things I had been taught as a child about religion, faith and the bible. I had placed my faith in the hands of humans instead of God in the past. I had somehow managed to overlook the obvious, and I had done so because everybody that I had any respect for was doing the same thing! I never questioned anything about the bible or the teachings of the church. But as time went by, I found it and the bible wanting. There was just something missing. Something that would not become clear to me until I had gotten angry enough with God to question my faith as well as that of those who helped to write the bible.

Those who somehow "knew" what God was saying and what was expected of us weren't making sense anymore. It just didn't work. I needed more! I needed something real! Something that could not only make a difference in my life, but something that I could understand and share. So I set out to prove or disprove the bible. I was going to find out what was going on, one way or the other. What I found out, not only suprised me, it save my life!

It is not always easy when a new door to knowledge opens up. It is in man's nature to fear what is unknown, unseen and uncontrollable! But we must open each door that we are presented with and trust that God will keep locked, the ones that we must avoid! For if we pass the door by, out of fear, we shall always be afraid of what we cannot see!
